>> Business Development Manager
Responsible for generating new business opportunities and developing existing accounts. The planning team handles all media planning and buying so the focus really is on generating new business and expanding existing accounts.
> Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business via incoming and outgoing calls, and face-to-face meetings.
- Source leads via trade press, websites and competitor activity.
- Work closely alongside the planning and campaign management team.
- Managing the entire email acquisition strategy for leading Direct Marketing and Online advertisers.
- Identifying opportunities across all of EDR’s product mix including Email, Lead Generation and Affiliate Management.
- Taking commercial responsibility for the development of a business vertical (e.g. Automotive, Finance).
- Weekly progress reports to the Business Development Director and Managing Director.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the client’s business objectives, and how EDR can help for these to be achieved.
> Key Skills:
- Sales experience at a senior level in email marketing would be ideal, alternatively any online media or direct marketing sales would also be advantageous.
> Accountabilities:
- Meeting New Business and existing business sales targets.
